Why Organs

Organs are the most nutrient dense part of an animal.  Bone and Muscle Meat lack many of the important nutrients required for pets on a raw diet.  Organs should make up 10% of your pet's raw food diet; 5% coming from Liver and the other 5% coming from other secreting organs.

Organs

Liver

Liver is a nutrient-rich organ meat that most dogs readily eat.  Liver can provide your pet with protein, fat, vitamin A, copper, and iron.

Feeding Recommendations:

Do Not Cook Liver.  Liver should take no more than 5% of your pet's raw diet.  Because of liver's vitamin A content, too much can cause toxicity.
